Regarding the DDS, the only things going on are the latest round of budget cuts. There don't seem to be much current action by the state. There will be further layoffs soon, but I have not seen any formal announcemnents yet. A lot of the folks we care for are passing away, so the numbers in the state institutions will keep dropping. These people are, however, living a lot longer than predicted, due to good quality care.
